I mean, we know August is an MVP...it feels kind of good to know that those knucklehead coaches have it figured out! ;-) Pardon those icky fingerprints all over that thing. I wanted to whip out the windex and clean that puppy up but if I would have taken the time to do that my son would have had those Jerry Glanville (yeah, remember him...coached the oilers...traded Bret Favre) threads on the floor and been in front of the Xbox, so I did what I could...

A friend directed me to youtube.com yesterday to watch this little video about an 88 year old woman calling in to the Ellen Degeneres show. It is so funny you have to see it! And soooo true about Texas closing down with a couple of flakes, lol!

We're Back!

We had a great time in Fort Worth...it was cold but oh, so fun! Happy to report that August and Allie took third in their class! That is huge for us since this is the first heifer he has raised. To do well at a major show like Fort Worth has us all on cloud nine! A few pics (okay, maybe more than a few) of the show and preparations.

sweet little baby Jesus, when I get old please don't let stupid things spout out of my mouth like they have spouted out of Donald Trump's mouth! Geez, enough already! Can Rosie and Donald please shut the hell up! And I'm sorry, Rosie, you are not an example of what a "strong" woman should be! Okay, off my soap box now!

August and I are headed for Fort Worth at the end of the week for the stock show. Wish him luck!

Just finished watching the movie "Little Miss Sunshine" and absolutely loved the message behind the comedy! If you haven't seen it, you should! This family sheds new light on the meaning of "dysfunctional" but also that you are never safer than in the arms of your family...no matter how dysfunctional!
