Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

Well, finally getting around to posting about the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It was so much fun to show here and August and Allie did so well! First in their class in the open show and second place in the scramble show. Here are some pictures of the open show where they received first place. Click on the picture to see the pictures better! Tax Day...UGH!

Do you hate tax day as much as I do? After doing seven people's taxes, yes, I said seven...I can honestly say I loathe tax day! I am kind of proud of myself for figuring all of that stuff out! I mean with instructions like "If born after January 1, 1942, and not blind, stop here" or how about this one I found while browsing Publication 525 (or something like that) under the heading Bribes: If you receive a bribe, include it in your income. Oh, okay, I'll do that! Sheesh! It's not rocket science but it can be pretty confusing especially when you have to fill out Schedule F when you aren't even really a farmer, just raising animals for fun! Oh, well, at least it is done and maybe now I can get back to blogging without all of that hanging over my head. Notice I waited until the last minute to do all of this but worried about it and thought about it daily and acted like I was about to go work on it! Well, it's done! Hooray!!!
